In 1966 she founded Moving Solutions, an award winning firm that has helped thousands of people downsize and relocate in the tri-state area. She is also the Founding President of NASMM, the National Association of Senior Move Managers, a group that is acknowledged to be the leading membership organization of senior move managers in the United States, Canada and abroad.  Margit has helped numerous entrepreneurs start their own move management businesses by training and sharing best practices, and 2007, she developed eSMMART, an innovative web-based training platform that provides courses for business owners and their employees.   Margit is also recognized as an expert in the field of Hoarding and Hoarding and the Elderly. She has written articles on Hoarding, and presented nationally on this this very topical and relevant subject. I feel her presentation entitled: Behind Closed Doors-Getting a Handle on Hoarding would be both impactful and engaging to our council members. \n
